The Top 3 Things to Know

Here are some important things you should know about renting storage

"Indoor" Doesn't Always Mean "Climate Controlled"

Climate control is an important part of keeping your items safe, especially in a humid place like Dalton. But not every indoor storage facility is also climate-controlled. Here at All Seasons Storage, we offer actual climate-controlled storage.

Not Every Facility Will Fit That Moving Truck

If you’re going to be using a large vehicle to move items into your storage unit, be careful about the location you choose. While we have a loading dock and wide driving spaces that make it possible to navigate with virtually any vehicle, not all facilities are able to accommodate large trucks.

Many Facilities Don’t Have On-Site Managers

Want to make sure there’s actually someone at the facility for part of the day or night watching over the property and your storage unit? Make sure you ask about on-site management. We’re proud to have our reliable manager, Brian, on-site to take care of our customers at All Seasons Storage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some questions people frequently ask about storage. We’ve done our best to answer them for you!

What is the difference between indoor and outdoor storage?

An outdoor storage unit typically means the unit’s door features outside access that you can drive up to. This may be convenient, but it also means less protection against the elements. Meanwhile, indoor units are a bit better protected. Here at All Seasons Storage, we bridge the gap by offering indoor climate-controlled units in a ground-floor facility with a loading dock.

How long is a contract for a self storage unit in Dalton?

Different facilities may have different requirements. All Seasons Storage provides storage units on a month-to-month basis. You will pay for a month at a time, but you’re never locked down in a lengthy contract. Move out whenever it’s time!

If I rent online now, can I move in immediately?

You can rent 24 hours a day right here on our website, but you’ll only be able to move in during our access hours. Before making any plans to visit the facility, please be sure to check our current gate access hours!

Will my rent go up every month?

While rent increases are inevitable due to rising costs, we here at All Seasons Storage try to avoid frequent increases. Some facilities are known to raise your rent every other month, but we try to keep rent as stable as possible to benefit our community.

Are there any extra steps I should take to protect my items?

It’s always best to store items on top of pallets instead of directly on the floor itself. If you can afford it, plastic totes are also a bit better than cardboard boxes.

What’s the first thing I should do when I get to my unit?

Open the door and check out the interior of the unit. We make sure units are empty and prepared for you before you move in, but it’s best to give it another look-over so that we can help you address any issues before they sit for too long!
